At the moment my immune system is low and i have been adviced to to a detox- base and low carb nutrition. I like the idea but don t know if it works in combinaation with the work out. . . Hey there! Somehow found Elise on instagram and loved the small snippets of training I saw there so decided to sign up! I’m 51 and going through a massive life change (divorce after 20 years, single parenting, new job, MENOPAUSE) and am finding that working out, training, meditating etc has been saving my ass over the last few months. I’ve got two son’s that surf and am keen to have a crack at it myself!! Looking forward to mixing up my usual training and budging a few kilos that have appeared from nowhere since menopause. Woo hoo!!!

Hi everyone,
My name’s Lou I’m from Bright in the North East Victoria, I currently work as a Production Operator. I found this program after purchasing the Retreat Yourself Box and there was a link to this included in it which after browsing the website I’m beyond excited to try as it looks fantastic.
I’ve never tried surfing before but I’m a super keen snowboarder and I visit Mt Hotham every day off during winter so I’m hoping that these workouts can make me snowboard fit and ready for winter.Lou xx

Greetings Lou!
Funny, I never think snowboarding in Australia. You should send over a picture… I am curious!
This program will benefit your snowboarding for sure. I have been doing SST for 4-5 months, and am more nimble, stable, and much more. You will enjoy!

Hi Everyone!
My name’s Kate and I’m based in South Australia. I found out about Surf Style Training through the New Year, New You Retreat Yourself Box.
Super excited to get started. I’m a Crossfit junkee so looking to mix up my workouts to see how my body reacts. I’ve also started a vegetarian way of life (4 weeks in) and seeing how my body feels and how my energy levels go has been an interesting experiment.
Look forward to seeing everyone’s journey.December 5, 2017 at 9:24 am #17996Anonymous

Whats up Kate,
Not sure I’ve ever heard crossfit and vegetarian in the same sentence!
Keep us updated, as I’m curious how the SST + vegetarian change + crossfit experiment turns out.

Good morning from Western Australia!
I’m Molly, mum of 4 with the youngest born just 2.5weeks ago!
I thankfully found Elise and her SST almost two years ago and have been absolutely hooked ever since.
Never have I found a style like hers and I know this stuff is life changing.
After just having had baby number 4 I am committed to follow her program 110% and see just how much it can
help change and strengthen my body from a Postnatal side of things.
I will also be training for my first Amateur Boxing fight this year so I’d also love to see how much this
will help improve my technique. 2018 is the year!Cheers π

Hi Iβm Dora!
From Costa Rica currently in the states! Mom of 2 and one more on the way. I lost my drive to be active and surfing after my 2nd kid. Feel constantly drained. Iβve been very sick this third pregnancy with all day nausea, and now almost on my 5th month doesnβt seem to be going away. Iβve been wanting to do Eliseβs workout for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge. I adapt what I feel is too much for my belly since I have diastasis recti but I really hope I can push myself to keep going with the program, so I feel strong and empowered by the the time this baby is ready to come out and the early months!! Stoked to be here!!

Created a new topic by accident oops, maybe the admin can delete that…. So I posted here again
My name is Hamish, I am an Australian who has been living in Berlin for the last 5 years. Unfortunately now I only get to surf on my holidays, so I train to be fit for when I get a chance to be in the water.
5 years ago I destroyed my knee playing sport and had a new ACL inserted, meniscus repair and holes in the cartilage… π After heaps of rehab exercise I was kind of able to walk again. But I really wanted to surf and have stability. The last 3 years I have trained 4 times a week getting my programs from Cris Mills. Specific surf drills of strength, stability and mobility has really helped me.
Last week I saw the facebook video post of Elise training with Malia and thought this looks like some of the stuff I like to train with. So I checked out the surf style training website and immediately new I wanted to be a member to see all the workouts. I am totally happy with the workouts and stretching protocols that I found there, and I cannot wait to get stuck into it further.
Cheers

Hi! I’m Darian. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu (Hawaii). I found this program through instagram! At the time I was doing barre workouts and was looking for leggings *laughs*. Elise wore a pair that caught my eye when I was scrolling through the “search” page. I am FINALLY here! Excited to be part of this π

My name is Megan. I’m based in Geelong, Australia and have been following Elise for a couple of years now since my friend was sharing some of her promotional photographic work starring Elise and I thought “I want to be THAT healthy!!!” π
I don’t surf but I would like to improve my fitness and balance for rollerskating.
I have an 18 month old daughter, am a personal development mentor for mums in business and run a hair salon, so I need quick workouts that I can do anywhere at any time.
My goal is to complete the triathlon that’s happening in Barwon Heads in February… Something that I planned on doing before getting pregnant but never got around to.

Hey Everyone!
I’m Alana, from California but manage a little surf hotel in Nicaragua half the year. Heading back to Cali in 3 weeks to cruise around the coast and then hit the mountains for snowboard season, so enjoying the warm water until then!
I’ve gotten a little burnt out on yoga and gym workouts, so I’ve have been looking for a program to keep me motivated and get some new results – and hopefully improve my surfing (fingers crossed!). I have some pretty consistent pains (psoas, neck, and shoulders) which I think are the result of certain muscles doing more of the work, so I would love to build overall muscular balance, and increase strength and mobility.
Really excited to get started! Cheers!
